Paper Players #97

I haven't had time to do many challenges lately.  I am hoping to be able to do lots of them this summer while I am not working.

This card is for the Paper Players sketch challenge found here.  It went together fairly quickly.  I used Layered Labels and some new dsp both of which will be available tomorrow (June 1).   The label was cut with one of the new framelits, Apothecary Accents, (also available tomorrow).

Edited again.  Same photo unedited but taken from my dropbox folder instead of sent by phone.  Won't be sending many posts through my phone unless I can figure out how to make it look better!  Any ideas, anyone????

Graduation Card

I made this CAS card for one of library aides who is graduating.  I'm sure she doesn't even know I have a blog so she won't see this before I give it to her this week.  I used our school colors and the sentiment from Word Play.  The cap is from Go Graduate.  I hope she likes it!

SUStars April Blog Hop-Spring!

Hi and welcome to the SUStars April blog hop.  It's all about Spring!

This is the second stop on the hop.  You may have reached my blog from Deborah's Thoughts of a Grasshopper.  But if you began here and would like to check out all the blogs you can find a list here.

I had planned on getting some actual paper projects made this week, but that didn't happen.  No surprise there!  I do have some new MDS projects from this Spring to share.

My first project is from Easter.  We didn't do much that day, but did meet up with our daughter and son-in-law for dinner.  I used some new downloads on this page.

This next page shows our little guy who loves to go outside.  This photo shows him looking out the window and wishing!

We did get a weekend trip in this past March.  We went to visit my brother and his family who live near Chicago.  On a very warm Sunday morning, we took a walking trip in the city after riding the train in.  I would love to have a lot more time to spend in Chicago.  It is a wonderful city.

Patterned Party

I made this card earlier this week and used a couple of challenges.  But I didn't get it uploaded soon enough for either of the challenges.  I have to say that I was rather pleased with this CAS card.  The images are from the Patterned Party stamp set.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.
