Merry Monday Challenge#4

I found this wonderful sketch at Always Playing with Paper.  I have meant to do this challenge each week since it began.  I love the idea of making a few Christmas cards each month so I won't be so rushed in December and I love the simple sketches.  But things haven't worked out for me to get it done until this week.  And even then, I am almost late!

I still love this cute little Santa from The Jolliest Time of the Year set.  As I am typing this, I notice that I missed coloring the belt buckle.  I will have to take care of that.

Hopefully I can participate in more of these sketch challenges.  And even though it is too late to participate, I am going to use the first 3 sketches soon.

Thanks for looking!

SUStars Ebony & Ivory Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the SUStars Ebony & Ivory Blog Hop.  Glad you could join us!  If you have been hopping along, you probably reached my blog from Jayne Stamps.  If you get lost along the way, a complete list of blog stops can be found here.

My craft room has been pretty cold lately, so I decided to make my projects in My Digital Studio.  As often happens, my pages today contain photos of my three cats.  They are my babies and I love them all dearly.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  The next stop is Shari's Stamp Pad.  Enjoy the rest of your tour!

Honorable Mention

I found a nice surprise today!  My card was chosen for Honorable Mention for Scrapbook Essentials Challenge #4.  I just found this challenge site this week and loved the simple sketch for this week's challenge.  Thanks, ladies, for this honor!

Mixed Bunch

Love this stamp set, Mixed Bunch, and the punch that goes with it.  Makes it so easy to create a beautiful card.  Takes a lot less time to punch out a flower rather than cutting it out. LOL!  I used the Everyday Enchantment dsp that is available in the SAB catalog on Jan. 24.  The bright colors and lovely patterns in this dsp can really perk you up on these dreary winter days.  I created two cards each showing one side of the same piece of dsp.  My stampers will get to choose which side of the paper they want to use.  I can't decide which one I like better.  Guess I don't have to choose, do I?

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrapbook Essentials Challenge 4

Barely getting this in under the wire for the Scrapbook Essentials challenge.  Used P.S. I Love You from the Occasions mini to create this card.

Take It To Heart!

This card is packed full of new items from the Occasions mini.  The only things that are not new are cardstock and the swiss dots embossing folder.  There are so many beautiful products in the Occasions mini.  Hopefully I can find time to play with a lot more of them.

I rather like the way this card turned out and hope you will like it too!

Thanks for stopping by!
