I found a wonderful sketch at Got Sketch? I created a page in MDS using that sketch.
It was fun to use several different papers from the Blueberry Crisp dsp.
Thanks for stopping by!

ScrapSketch16
Another wonderful sketch from mydigitalstudio.net. I used some old photos that were taken on a vacation in Indiana where my brother lived at the time. Santa Claus, IN was not too far from his house, so we took a day trip to visit Holiday World. The kids had a lot of fun. They even got to sit on Santa's lap. I thought I took photos of that, but either I didn't or the pics didn't turn out.

Sketchy Thursday
I am making good use of my Snow Day! Getting some digital scrapbooking done. Can I just say again? I LOVE MDS!!! Today's second page uses the sketch from Sketchy Thursday. I used some older photos on this page. I have always loved these photos I shot of my daughters when they were a whole lot younger!
I really like this sketch! Putting all those pearls on the ribbon border took the most time. The rest went pretty fast.

ScrapSketch15
For some reason I couldn't find the Saturday sketch from mydigitalstudio.net until today. But I found it and got busy with my MDS and created this page. The photos are older. They are from my oldest daughter's eighth birthday. And let's just say that has been quite a few years ago. I won't tell her age. She might not like that! Anyway, here is the page
Oh, and I realized after I saved it to a jpeg that I had forgotten to put drop shadows on the page. I will go back to MDS and do that before I have it printed.

Sketchy Thursday 012011
I decided to try the sketch for today at Sketchy Thursday.
I made a mirrored image 2-pg. layout using My Digital Studio. I have almost all of my Christmas photos scrapped using MDS.

Punch Bunch
Don't you just love this little owl. He is part of the Punch Bunch stamp set found in the Sale-a-bration catalog that begins on Jan. 25. The sentiment comes from the same set.

Valentine Defined
I love this glitter paper. Hope SU keeps it after the Occasions mini is over and hope they have it in more colors! I also love the set, Valentine Defined. I like this clean and simple card. What do you think?

ScrapSketch14
I created this 2-page layout for ScrapSketch14 at mydigitalstudio.net. I just flipped (or mirrored) the sketch for the second page.
I will save this sketch in My Digital Studio so I can use it again.

Blog Slacker!
School was closed 4 days this week. I should have gotten a lot of stamping done, don't you think??? Well, my craft room is in my basement and it is frigid down there. My space heater doesn't even come close to heating up the one room. Of course, it is a big room with a big picture window looking out the back. So that doesn't help much. I have been working on some digital scrapbook pages using My Digital Studio. But not really happy with them yet, so nothing to show there. I do have one page I made earlier this week for the mydigitalstudio.net Saturday challenge. That is all I have to show for all this time off. Sorry!
I am so ready for spring!

Elements of Style
Here is a vintage card stamped with Elements of Style in soft suede onto ivory cardstock. The edges were distressed and sponged lightly with soft suede. Stamped the verse and bird with retired taken with teal and the bird was cut out and adhered with dimensionals.

Fast & Fabulous is Blooming with Love
Another birthday card! The floral images are from Fast & Fabulous (Hostess). I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the images. The sentiment comes from the retired Blooming with Love.

Countryside
I love this old truck from Countryside. The sentiment comes from Bring on the Cake which will be available on Jan. 4 from the Occasions mini catalog. I used the retired brocade blue and some unknown dsp that my daughter gave to me when she was cleaning out her craft room.

I'm Back!
After doing so well posting every day in November, I slipped in December and was right back to my old ways. Sorry about that. I can say I was busy getting ready for the holidays and that would be true. But I am sure I was just a little lazy also when it came to blogging. Any way I have something new to show you today. My neighbor needed several birthday cards for this month so I spent some time the other day making her cards. Here is the first one:
I have to admit I think my mojo was lacking on this card. I love CAS cards but this may be a little too simple even for me. I used the vintage wheel for the background and punched out images from the Punched Potpourri set. I forget the set that the sentiment came from. I added a rhinestone brad and some basic gray satin ribbon. My neighbor liked the card and I guess that is all that matters. I'll be back tomorrow with another card to show you.
