I am a Princess!

It is always exciting to win!  I just got an email telling me that I had been chosen a princess at Freshly Made this week.  Thanks so much, Allisa!  My card can be seen here.

CCMC 207 and CCMC-NC1

Before I got my card done for the Create with Connie & Mary sketch challenge, I found this color challenge on the paid subscription site for the new catalog.  I decided to combine the two challenges together.  I used some Comfort Cafe dsp and a sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes and that wonderful pool party ruffled ribbon.  I made a 3D flower with a new natural button and a large pearl center to round out my card.

Freshly Made #40

I love CAS (clean and simple) and this week’s sketch from Freshly Made is very nice.  I stamped the image from Just Believe with gumball green onto a whisper white oval. It is matted in primrose petals.  Flowers are punched from primrose petals and raspberry ripple with a pearl in the center.

Oops! And a Birthday Card

I made this card for my daughter's birthday which is tomorrow, but we celebrated yesterday so I can go ahead and post it now!  I used the Reason to Smile stamp set and her favorite color combo, purple and green.  I also had planned to use it for the Ala Card Monkey sketch, but I just looked at the sketch and didn't READ the directions for making a Father's Day card.  I still love the sketch so I am happy with the card.

TSSC225 and CCMC206 Combined!

For the Birds is the cutest stamp set!  Love all the sweet images.

This card works for the Monday Lunchtime sketch and for the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge.  Had a really tough time getting a halfway decent photo even though using a lightbox.  Editing doesn't help a whole lot either.  Reds always seem to look more orange than they should and greens always look more gray.  Maybe it is my monitor!  Maybe they look just right on other screens (I can hope, huh?).

This card was chosen by LeAnne for Honorable Mention in the Merry Monday challenge this week.  Thanks so much, LeAnne!  It really is an honor to have my card chosen from all the wonderful entries.

OK!  This is my third and final sketch challenge of the day.  I promise!

This easy sketch comes from the Freshly Made Sketch Challenge.  I used some more retired dsp and Fruit & Flowers stamp set.

Thanks for looking!
