The sketch at MDS Monday this week was for a card but I wanted to do a layout of a few of the pics I shot of my granddaughter today while they were visiting.  Her cute little outfit had a big ladybug on the skirt part of it.  So I used that for my embellishments and I love the strips of photos.

I could be biased, I suppose, but isn't she just the cutest little thing?  As a friend said to me this morning, there just aren't words to describe how wonderful it is being a grandmother.  It has far surpassed my expectations!

I decided to do a layout also for the MDS Monday Challenge.  I kept the page very simple to make my photo the real focal point.  My Gerbera daisies are so beautiful this year.

Technique Twist Blown Ink Challenge

There's a new challenge blog in town!  The Technique Twist  challenge  began today.  The challenge was to use the Blown Ink technique.  This is my first try at it.  Not sure how I feel about it.  Think my colors are a little darker than I would have liked them to be.  But it is what it is!

Dynamic Duos #56

I haven't done a card challenge in a long time and have never done a Dynamic Duos challenge at all.  But when I saw the colors today, I had a pretty good idea what I wanted to do and here it is.  I really love the Postage Due set and it worked well for the soft look of blushing bride and soft suede.
