Merry Monday Challenge 23

Now this was a hard one to photograph!  I really need to get my light box set up again.  The pewter embossing onto crumb cake cs and the midnight muse sponging on top of that caused me to shoot it from many different angles and places.

I used Come to Bethlehem for my images and sentiment.  When I first saw this sketch, I thought I would use either Christmas Lodge or Beautiful Season.  Then I scrolled down to look at the cards from the design team and saw that both had been used.  I really wanted to use a current stamp set, so this is what I came up with.  IRL this card is much prettier.

October group card #1

I really love this set.  I couldn't get a good pic of it, so the colors don't look quite like they should.  I used perfect plum and elegant eggplant.  Looks much lighter in the photo.  The image is embossed with clear embossing powder over elegant eggplant craft ink.

This simple card was created for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.  I love this stamp and will probably make a lot of Christmas Cards with it.

Come to Bethlehem

I am sorry it has been so long since I last posted.  I had to go back to school on Aug. 17 and I never seem to get anything else accomplished as I ease back into work.  Finally had a little extra time this weekend so I did a little stamping.  I had some left over supplies already cut for a card (shown below) that my group made last year.  So I used them with my new stamp set, Come to Bethlehem.  Here is the recipe:

Paper:  whisper white, night of navy, brushed silver
Ink:  Versamark
Extras:  Silver embossing powder, dimensionals
