Paper Players Sketch #88 & CCMC195

On today's card I used a sketch from the Paper Players and a color combo from Create with Connie & Mary.  My neighbor needed a birthday card for a man and I thought these colors and the sketch both went well with the eagle from In Wilderness.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The dsp and ribbon are retired.  One thing I wish I could change would be to have the knot on the other side to balance out the poppy sentiment piece.  But I don't want that change enough to try to take the card apart!

Freshly Made #28

I had a little timne to stamp today!  I've been wanting to do a challenge for a while and just hadn't gotten it done.  I chose this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.  I really hate to see this Everyday Enchantment dsp go in just a few days.  And next month this stamp set,  Send Me Soaring, from the Occasions mini will also be gone.   I love these kites!

SUStars MDS Blog Hop

Thanks for hopping along with us as we show our projects from My Digital Studio.

My post is going up early because I won't have time to do it later tonight and I want to make sure it is working properly.  The hop officially starts tomorrow morning.

You may have come from Stamping With Janice.  If you began with my blog and would like to check out the other blogs, you can find a complete list here.  Or you can just hop on to the next blog by clicking on the link at the end of my post.

I went way back to get a photo for this pre-made page. This was my first born when she was just a few days old.  All I had to do for this page was drop in my photo and put in her name and do a little journaling.

A lot of my photos these day (since I don't have any grandchildren) are of our 3 cats.

I didn't even get my box of Stampin' Up goodies completely unpacked before this little lady jumped in and started playing in the box.  I used some wonderful new paper and embellishments that must have come with the latest update since I had not ordered them.  Love these papers.

This last page shows all three of our cats.   They are indeed our babies!  I hadn't used any of the digital tape embellishments yet, so decided to give them a try.  The paper comes from the Urban Garden collection.

I'd recommend to anyone who is on the fence about My Digital Studio to check out the 30-day free trial Stampin' Up is offering.  Can't go wrong with free!

The next stop on the hop is Shari's Stamp Pad.  Thanks again for joining us.

Bye for now!

He is Risen

This is one of the cards my stampers are making this month.  The lilies come from He is Risen.  The dsp is from the Everyday Enchantment that is available until the end of this month.  It is free with a $50 purchase.  Free is good!

Here is another card I made with the same stamp set.   I finally got around to stamping with ink directly on the clear block and then stamped onto the cardstock.  It's an easy and quick way to give some oomph to a simple and flat card that is ideal for mailing.

Be sure to come back this weekend for the SUStars MDS blog hop.  I'm sure you will see lots of wonderful projects.

Thanks for stopping by!

Freshly Made #25

Love this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches!  I think it is perfect for this wonderful image from You're My Type.  I found my color combo, riding hood red, basic gray and more mustard, in the color coach.  I love the basic gray but hardly ever use it.   I scored the background panel with the new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.  So much fun!

Edited:  I didn't get this posted in time for the challenge.  But I am glad I used the sketch anyway!
